The itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Aruba

Welcome to Aruba! After arriving, pick up your rental car and drive to your first stay. Take your time to settle in, explore the surroundings and ease into the Caribbean rhythm. Enjoying a first drink at sunset is a lovely way to start, or head to a relaxed restaurant for your first taste of Aruban cuisine.

Day 2–3

Discover Aruba's Charm

The first few days are all about getting to know the island. Explore colourful Oranjestad, soak up the local atmosphere in San Nicolas and discover the creative street art that has brought new life to this former industrial town. There’s plenty to discover on the culinary side too. Think local restaurants, fresh fish, Caribbean flavours and a special wine or rum tasting. And, of course, there’s time to relax. Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters or simply sit back and enjoy the views across the sea.

Days 4–6

The rugged north coast

Discover a completely different side of the island. Aruba’s rugged northern coast is a spectacular contrast to its famous white-sand beaches, with dramatic rock formations, wild coastlines and landscapes that feel almost otherworldly. Drive through the impressive Arikok National Park, visit natural landmarks and discover hidden spots that many visitors miss. Mix adventure with relaxation at one of Aruba’s beautiful beaches, such as Baby Beach, Mangel Halto or Arashi Beach.

Day 7

A change of scenery

Today, you’ll swap your boutique stay for the second accommodation of your trip. A completely different atmosphere, with even more space to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Take some time to explore the facilities, make the most of the attentive service and get to know your new surroundings. Perhaps this is the perfect moment for a delicious cocktail, a little wellness time or dinner overlooking the sea.

Days 8–11

Ultimate relaxation

These days are all about setting your own pace. Treat yourself to a yoga session, Pilates class or wellness experience, enjoy a slow morning and choose a few special experiences to make your trip complete. Set sail on a luxury yacht for a day on the water, enjoy a sunset dinner or discover Aruba’s underwater world on a snorkelling adventure. And don’t forget to leave room for a day of doing absolutely nothing: feet in the sand, a good book in hand and nothing but island vibes around you.

Days 12–13

Revisit favourite Places

Use your final days to revisit the places that surprised you most during your trip. Perhaps one last visit to your favourite beach, a final culinary discovery or simply a slow day to make the most of your accommodation. For a memorable finale, we’d be happy to arrange a special dinner or unique experience.

Day 14

Until next time, Aruba

Every trip has to come to an end. After one last breakfast and perhaps a final dip in the warm Caribbean waters, return your rental car and head home with wonderful memories of your time in Aruba.

Aruba is a wonderful year-round destination thanks to its sunny climate, consistently warm temperatures and refreshing trade winds. The best time to visit Aruba is from February to June, when the weather is typically dry and sunny and temperatures are pleasantly warm.

The months from July through January are also a great time to visit Aruba. You may experience an occasional short tropical shower during this period, but the sun usually comes back out quickly.

Want to avoid the busiest periods? Plan your trip outside the peak travel seasons around the holidays and school vacations. Spring and early summer are particularly ideal for exploring Aruba at a more relaxed pace, with fewer crowds and plenty of sunshine.

During this trip, you’ll stay in two stylish accommodations. All stays include a delicious daily breakfast where possible, so you can start each day feeling refreshed. The starting price for this sample trip is based on two people sharing a standard double room. Room upgrades and extensions are available on request.

Our trips are tailor-made and subject to availability at the time of booking. If one of the suggested accommodations is fully booked for your travel dates, we’ll of course find an equally comfortable and characterful alternative. Any local tourist taxes or parking fees are paid directly at the accommodation.

How are guests divided between the two accommodations?

You’ll spend the first half of your trip at a cosy boutique hotel before moving to a luxurious second stay for the remainder of your holiday. You can simply keep your rental car with you, and we’ll make sure the transition is seamless. Prefer to stay at just one hotel during your Aruba holiday? That’s absolutely possible too. This trip can be fully tailored to your wishes.

Is a rental car really necessary in Aruba?

Absolutely! Although Aruba is compact, having a rental car gives you the freedom to explore beyond the better-known spots. Drive easily to the rugged north coast and Arikok National Park, discover secluded beaches and explore the colourful street art in San Nicolas.

How do you get access to the private island?

During your stay at Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, access to the private island, including the boat transfer, is fully included. You can visit the island as often as you like throughout your stay.

Do I need to book excursions and dinners before the trip?

Of course, you don’t have to, but we do recommend booking popular experiences, such as boat trips or specific spa treatments, in advance. Our digital travel guide includes all our favourite tips, and we’re happy to help arrange reservations before you travel.

What do I need to arrange in advance before entering Aruba?

For Aruba, every traveller must complete a digital ED Card via the official Aruba website before departure. This can easily be done online within 7 days of your trip. Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality, so be sure to check whether you need a visa for Aruba before you travel.

Isn't 14 days too long for a small island like Aruba?

Absolutely not! Because this trip combines exploring the island with plenty of time to relax, you can experience Aruba at a wonderfully easy pace. There’s plenty of time for rugged nature, local culture, wellness experiences and long beach days, without having to rush from one place to the next. And isn’t that what a holiday is all about? Taking the time to truly unwind.
