It is a fun activity where you can discover a lot of the city in an active and fast way. After all, with the crowded public transport and roads, you can often get to your next destination faster by bike. By the way, on a bike you really look your eyes out, and your legs don't get tired as quickly. Our daily bike ride led us from the atmospheric Trastevere through the Tiber River to the sights in the historic city center. My favorite place to bike in Rome is along the banks of the Tiber, here there is a wide path from where you have a nice view of the approaching sights and bridges.\u00a0<\/p><p>We rented our bikes from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bicibaci.com\/nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bici Baci<\/a><\/strong> in Rome. There are three branches in the city, so there is always one near you. You'll find Bici Baci near the Colosseum, Repubblica and Spagna metro stations. You can use public transport and visit two places of interest.
