A small island located in the bay of Cannes, surrounded by clear blue waters. Monks have cared for the island for centuries, which makes it even more special. About 30 monks live in the Abbey of L\u00e9rins, which has been established on the island since the 5th century.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tickets for the boat to Saint-Honorat are easy to purchase at the Cannes harbor. You\u2019ll reach the island in just 20 minutes. On the first Friday of every month, you can join a guided tour and wine tasting on the island. Tours are offered in French and English. The tasting is advertised as lasting 15 minutes, but it usually takes around 45 minutes. In the sun, among the vineyards, you can enjoy two delicious wines while listening to the stories behind the wines produced here. It\u2019s truly a very special experience.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is also a good restaurant where you can enjoy lunch with views over the clear blue sea. Be sure to book in advance, as availability is limited. My personal top tip is to visit the rooftop bar Farago on the Roof, which offers stunning views from the top.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Monaco<\/strong>: a city full of luxury and history. It\u2019s also easily accessible by train.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Saint-Tropez<\/strong>: you can take a boat trip from Cannes to Saint-Tropez, which takes just over an hour. If you visit on a Tuesday or Saturday, be sure to check out the Proven\u00e7al market at Place des Lices for local products and a wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Th\u00e9oule-sur-Mer<\/strong>: a charming town in the bay of Cannes. You can enjoy drinks at Marco Polo and Les Fr\u00e8res de la Bale.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Antibes en Juan-les-Pins<\/strong>: both are charming coastal towns easily accessible by train from Cannes. You can wander through the quaint streets, relax on the beach, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Mougins<\/strong>: although this village is less accessible by public transport, it is definitely worth a visit.
