Berlin is a popular city break destination all year round, but if you ask us, spring and summer are the best times of the year to visit Berlin. And with that, we should not forget to mention the period before Christmas, as the city is then attractively lit and you can visit Christmas markets everywhere.

You will find a number of impressive and historical sights in Berlin, the most famous being:

  • Brandenburg Gate - an important historical monument and one of Berlin's most recognizable symbols;

  • The Berlin Wall - even though the Berlin Wall has largely been torn down, you can still find some remnants, such as the East Side Gallery;

  • Reichstag Building - The Reichtag is the seat of the German parliament and an impressive building to see. You can also visit the glass dome for a panoramic view of Berlin;
