As far as we are concerned, the best time to visit Valencia is in spring or autumn. By spring we mean the months of April to early June when temperatures are already very pleasant, and the high season for tourists has not yet begun. You can enjoy wonderful sunny days in the city and on the beach (without it being too hot). The autumn ditto, this applies to the period from September to the end of October.

There are some popular neighborhoods in Valencia where it is very nice to stay. But the question is really: do you want to stay in the city center or close to the beach? These are our favorite neighborhoods:

  • Ciutat Vella - the historic heart of Valencia which includes the neighborhoods of El Carmen and La Seu;
  • Ruzafa - a hip neighborhood in Valencia known for its vibrant nightlife;
  • Malvarrosa/ Cabanyal - neighborhoods located on the coast of Valencia.
