Brazil, the land of samba, sun-drenched beaches and breathtaking nature, is high on many people's bucket lists. And what better way to start your Brazilian adventure than with a nice and comfortable flight? We flew with Air Europa to Brazil and would definitely recommend it! In this article we take you through everything you need to know to make your trip to Brazil unforgettable and as pleasant as possible.

With Air Europa to Brazil

A trip to Brazil is an adventure that begins with a good flight. The cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador in Brazil are on average about 8,000 - 9,000 kilometers from the Netherlands, so you will soon be on the road for about 12 hours. With a fine flight, this distance becomes a lot more pleasant.

Both times we flew to Brazil, we chose the airline Air Europa. Air Europa is a leading airline known for its modern fleet, excellent service and comfortable travel experience. The first time we flew to Salvador and the second time to São Paulo. Air Europa flies to Brazil with several aircraft, including the Boeing 737 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

How do you travel to Brazil with Air Europa?

The airline flies from Amsterdam, via Madrid to Salvador and São Paulo in Brazil. The flight from Amsterdam to Madrid takes about 2.5 hours and the flight to Salvador then about 9 hours. If you fly from Madrid to São Paulo, it takes about 11 hours. We personally like to break up travel time into two flights. That way you can stretch your legs, grab a bite to eat and then get ready for the long flight to Brazil. Often the transfer is also only about 1.5 to 2 hours. Just enough if you ask us!
