Ubud is known for its insane accommodations. From private jungle villas to luxurious resorts with infinity pools, it can't get crazy enough in Ubud. And often these luxury hotels are still a lot nicer priced than in Europe. We can imagine that you can't see the wood for the trees and don't know where to stay in Ubud. We have stayed in Ubud several times during our travels through Bali and can recommend several accommodations. From immersive luxury to cozy hostels for a bargain price, these are great places to stay in Ubud!

1. Bisma Eight Ubud

One of the most beautiful hotels in Ubud is without a doubt Bisma Eight. We stayed at this gem in Ubud and can recommend it to everyone. This luxurious boutique hotel is an oasis of tranquility in lively Ubud. Bisma Eight is surrounded by greenery and you feel as if you are completely in the jungle. And that while the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the lively center.

There is also a beautiful infinity pool at Bisma Eight, so a nice swim, as well as beautiful pictures are guaranteed! For a double room, you pay average between €200.00 and €300.00 per night. No bargain then, but if you are looking for luxury, Bisma Eight is an incredibly good choice.

2. In Da Garden Ubud

Is an overnight stay at Bisma Eight a little above your budget? Then we have another tip for you. During our visit to Ubud we stayed next to Bisma Eight also in the very cozy In Da Garden. We extended this accommodation twice because we couldn't get enough of it! It is a popular place, so it is advisable to book In Da Garden in advance.

In Da Garden

In Da Garden is a fine accommodation in a quiet area of Ubud, yet only 200 meters from Ubud market, stores and restaurants. In Da Garden is rated 9.2 and for good reason. We found it an incredibly good place to stay. It is also a very affordable accommodation, as a double room costs around €20.00 per night.

3. Kahayana Suites Ubud

For luxurious, yet still affordable accommodation, we recommend Kahayana Suites in Ubud. You'll find a nice outdoor pool, a beautiful garden and a restaurant and bar at the resort. So if you want to laze around in Ubud, you don't have to leave the resort. The hotel is centrally located in Ubud.

4. Hidden Bamboo

Okay, we have to admit that this accommodation is not in Ubud, but still, Hidden Bamboo is definitely worth mentioning. This Airbnb is located in Tampaksiring, where you will also find one of the most famous temples (the Tirta Empul temple). The accommodation is about a half-hour to hour drive from Ubud (depending on traffic). The Airbnb is a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful green nature. Are you looking for a place where you can completely unwind? Then Hidden Bamboo the place to be.

Handy to know: Hidden Bamboo is in the middle of nature and therefore not close to a center. However, the service here is great! The owners do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. So you can also order lunch and dinner, which is delivered to Hidden Bamboo. The accommodation costs about €110.00 per night for 4 people. A stay can be booked for at least 2 nights.

How many days stay in Ubud?

Ubud is a place where you can easily stay a longer time. We recommend staying at least 3 days in Ubud, especially if you want to see several sights and participate in fun tours. Don't be surprised if you decide to extend your stay. A little margin is definitely recommended in your travel plans. Ubud is without doubt one of the nicest and most versatile places in Bali!
