Every Rotterdammer is familiar with the Witte de Withstraat, also called the Witte de With in the vernacular. It is one of the liveliest streets in the city center, and it is also definitely the place for a lively night out. But the Witte de Withstraat offers much more. You will find a diverse range of restaurants and bars, museums and art galleries and, of course, some nice hotels to stay in. During a city trip or a visit to Rotterdam, the Witte de With should definitely not be missed. These are the best things to do at the Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam!

1. Eating out at the nicest restaurants on Witte de Withstraat

When we eat out in Rotterdam we prefer to go to a different restaurant every time. We are proud to say that we have visited (almost) every restaurant on the Witte de Withstraat at least once. The variety of restaurants at the Witte de With is enormous, and this makes us come back time and again to this vibrant place in Rotterdam.

For example, we have had several delectable meals at restaurant Bazar, but also enjoyed the various tapas at Supermercado and tasty burgers at Hamburg. These are only three of the many delicious restaurants you can find on the Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam. Our other favorite restaurants are:

2. Going out on the Witte de With

From the side streets you can already hear the pleasant murmur of groups of friends talking loudly and laughing. The Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam is known for its cozy atmosphere. An atmosphere you can experience both in the summer and winter months. No matter if it is hot or cold outside, the terraces on the Witte de With are always full.

After dinner, the Witte de With slowly transforms into the place where you can get your feet off the floor late into the night. Think famous bars such as The White Monkey and NRC. Here you can drink a nice beer during the day, but these are also popular places to go out at night. But be sure to also take a look at the bars and nightlife venues below:
