The best burger in Rotterdam, where do you eat it? In our opinion, this is only possible at a few hotspots in the city. Did you know that preparing a burger is not easy? There is a lot of passion involved. This is the reason why some burgers taste much better than others. Because a burger prepared with love and knowledge of taste is a burger to lick your fingers at. And you will do so at all the burger joints we tip you off to in this article. Our personal favorites when it comes to eating a tasty burger in Rotterdam!
1. Ter Marsch & Co.
The most delicious burger of the Benelux, not just in Rotterdam, you can eat at Ter Marsch & Co. on Witte de Witstraat. The thing that makes this hot spot so wildly popular is that some of the burgers are "award winning burgers. For example, The Holy Moly burger is our personal favorite. And of course it goes well with a serving of delectable sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise and parmesan.
Ter Marsch & Co has been around since 1890(!), although first known as Factory of Preserved Meat Products', and has long been located at 70 Witte de Withstraat. In the building where the hotspot still sits today. And that's cool, because a number of external features have still been preserved. With a history of over 125 years and with award winning burgers on the menu, Ter Marsch & Co is rightfully number 1 in this hotspot list!

2. Hamburg
There is one more hot spot on Witte de Withstraat where we love coming to eat burgers, and that is at Hamburg! The concept of this burger joint is as follows, they serve "clean burgers for a clean price. In other words, tasty burgers for a reasonable price. And we can definitely agree. Although we often choose 'The Hamburg', 'The Filthy Platter of Dirt' for 2 is also high on our list. Who knows next time!

3. Diego's
Diego's is a well-known hot spot on the Kop van Zuid, and a place to remember if you're craving burgers. Since the opening of Diego's, owner Diego has won several awards with his burgers, including one for the most expensive burger in the world. The price tag attached to this burger with white truffle, caviar, lobster, foie gras and gold leaf was €2,050. Fortunately, Diego's current menu is full of delectable and affordable burgers, so make your reservations soon and feast!

4. Burger Club
Another fine place to pull up a table and order a burger is at the Burger Club on the Nieuwe Binnenweg. A hot spot where you can enjoy the Burger Club Special or Dutch Weed Burger undisturbed while sipping on tasty cocktail. Nothing is too crazy. And what always makes us extra happy is that the Burger Club works with honest and pure products!

5. Baek Food & Drinks
The legendary Baek Burger with Closter cheese, crispy fried bacon, onion, head lettuce and pickle is one of the reasons we love Baek Food & Drinks visit. This crispy burger on a delicious brioche bun was voted the best burger in Rotterdam in 2018. That this burger hotspot is not yet known to everyone is just crazy to us, we hope to change that with the entry in this list!

6. Burgertrut
Every lover of burgers knows Burgertrut in Rotterdam. Not only because of somewhat special name, but also because of the diverse and creative range of burgers. Including of course the classic Trut Burger, but did you know that at Burgertrut you have several vegetarian and vegan options? And believe us, these taste incredibly good. In addition, Burgertrut is also a very fun and creative place to sit at the table. You can find this hotspot, which rightly belongs in the list of best burgers in Rotterdam, near the art and music center Roodkapje.

7. The GOAT
We can jump low or high, but this really is one of our favorite junk food hotspots in Rotterdam. It is the place for a nice creamy burger from which the juices drip when you take a bite. And we haven't even mentioned the typical American atmosphere that comes with it. The GOAT hang out. Have you never been to this hotspot? Then you should change that soon and order a blissful smashed burger, you won't regret it!

8. Vegan Junk Food Bar
A hot spot you may know from our list 'favorite vegan hotspots in Rotterdam' is natural: Vegan Junk Food Bar. A cozy place on the Schiedamse Vest where you can sit in the sun on the terrace until late in the summer. It is the place where vegans, and non-vegans, can enjoy 100% plant-based snacks. And the burgers here are not only colorful, but also incredibly tasty!
