That Ibiza is a wildly popular vacation destination to travel to is no secret, but that Ibiza is much more than a party destination is not known to everyone. If you venture off the beaten path, you will discover that Ibiza has a rich culture and gastronomy. In the bustling heart of Ibiza town you will find cozy restaurants where you can eat very well, but also inland you will find pearls of restaurants. Curious about the best restaurants in Ibiza? These are our tips!
1. Restaurante La Oliva
A very popular hot spot in Dalt Vila is Restaurante La Oliva because of the blissful dishes, friendly service and nice location. Something that, by the way, we can definitely agree on because we have already been served here twice. La Oliva is especially known for their dessert, namely the giant macaron with fresh raspberries. Personally also our favorite dish, but the pastas here are also finger-licking good. Want to eat out here? Then keep in mind to make a reservation on time!

2. La Dispensa
Restaurant La Dispensa is located in a photogenic narrow street that also goes up the hill. On the same street you will find three buildings in which the restaurant is located. You can sit inside at all three, but of course it is much more fun to sit at one of the tables outside.

3. Casa Maca
The hot spot Casa Maca had been tipped to us by friends, and what an incredibly cozy place this is. Casa Maca is niet only an incredibly cool restaurant, but also an beautiful hotel. The nice thing about this hot spot is that it is off the beaten path, so you really have to know about it if you want to eat out here. The restaurant consists of three different terraces. All three are equally attractive and have breathtaking views of Dalt Vila and the rest of Ibiza town. The cuisine is incredibly good, everything comes from the grill. Be sure to make your reservations in time (you pay a hefty deposit for this), because it is a very popular place. Extra fun is that here you have a pretty good chance of running into a BN'er or perhaps an international celebrity. The price range of this hot spot is a lot higher!

4. Bambuddha Ibiza
The Asian restaurant Bambuddha is a must visit when you are in Ibiza. What an ambiance has been created in this restaurant! Bambuddha Ibiza offers a mix between Mediterranean and Asian cuisine and the restaurant is completely decorated in an oriental, spiritual setting. It serves on a "shared dining" principle where you can choose from a variety of dim sum, sushi, fish and meat dishes. There are also tasting menus. The cocktails are at least as good as the dishes at Bambuddha.
The restaurant is therefore incredibly popular. It is advisable to make reservations at Bambuddha prior to your vacation to Ibiza.

5. Plaza del Sol Restaurant
Restaurant Plaza del Sol is also one of the must-visit hotspots in Ibiza Town. You will recognize this hot spot by the colorful pieces of fruit beautifully decorated at the entrance. Among other things, the fruit is used for the smoothies they make fresh for you. The restaurant has a large terrace from which you have a beautiful view of the city, but if you come for a refreshing drink you can also sit along the wall on the lounge benches.
Tip: around the corner from Plaza del Sol you will find the famous hotspot S'Escalinata Eivissa Where you can flop down on one of the beanbags!
6. Passion Café Ibiza
Passion Cafe Ibiza is a fine lunch café with mostly healthy but delicious options. You can get plenty of smoothies, protein shakes and home-brewed coffees at this hot spot. The tasty lunch dishes range from avocado toast to richly filled salads. Passion Ibiza works with locally grown produce and goes organic whenever possible. This does not mean, however, that it is only a fine hot spot for those who want to go lollygagging. Chicken burgers, pineapple pancakes and tacos are also on the menu!
Passion Ibiza has 5 locations across Ibiza: Vara de Rey, Santa Eulalia, Marina, San Jose and Playa d'en Bossa.
7. Kalissol Santa Eulalia
The restaurant Kalissol is located on the beach of Santa Eulalia in Ibiza. Kalissol has a summer look with cheerful light blue chairs and serves fresh, international dishes. Kalissol is a cozy little restaurant as you would expect in a Spanish seaside resort, but without the fancy "Ibiza vibe. Very good food, affordable and in a nice spot to spot passersby.
