While during the day you relax on a sun bed under a swaying palm tree, at sunset the beach changes into an atmospheric setting full of lights, cocktails and tropical fragrances. Jan Thiel is a nice place for a sumptuous dinner with your feet in the sand or just for a quick bite in between swimming. 1. Koko's: chill vibes and tropical atmospheres
Leave your flip-flops in the sand and plop down on one of the comfortable lounge beds at Koko's, the ultimate relaxation spot at the quiet end of Jan Thiel Beach. Here you can order tropical breakfasts, iced coffees, cocktails and colorful bowls all day long. The atmosphere is boho-chic and wonderfully relaxed. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the beach at Jan Thiel in quiet surroundings. Several times we have started our day with an iced latte from Koko's, preferably overlooking the sea glistening in the morning sun.

2. Zanzibar: pizza and party vibes
Zanzibar is a classic on Jan Thiel Beach and a firm favorite on our list for good reason. This beach club exudes laid-back coziness and is a great place to hang out all day long. Start your day with a fresh smoothie or join us later for lunch overlooking the sea. The absolute best? The pizzas from the stone oven: crispy, richly topped and perfect for sharing. In the mood for a party? Then Zanzibar is the place to be on Saturday night. During happy hour, the Amstel Bright bottles sound, and before you know it you're dancing with your feet in the sand to the beats of the DJ.

3. Zest: Mediterranean enjoyment with your feet in the sand
Zest is stylish, relaxed and just a very tasty hot spot on Jan Thiel to eat. Here you can taste Mediterranean cuisine at its best: think well-stocked drinks boards, fresh pastas and surprising specials. Everything is presented with care, and you can taste that. In addition to the restaurant, you will also find a beach club with white cabanas and a beach bar. Here you can lie back and enjoy the sun, sea and beach during the day. It is slightly quieter than at Zanzibar.
