Our experience with Peru Well Served
As we shared earlier, we experienced the most beautiful adventures in Sacred Valley. For example, accompanied by a local guide, we visited the magical city Machu Picchu. Our visit to the ancient Inca capital was completely organized in advance by Peru Well Served. This way we could enjoy our visit for the full 100%. Our guide also told the most interesting stories that we would not have wanted to miss.
Our fondest memory of the Sacred Valley was the day we saw the Perolniyoc waterfall and the Patacancha community visited. The Perolniyoc waterfall is virtually unknown among travelers and thus very local. The hiking trail to the waterfall takes you past local villages. It is a beautiful place where you can completely enjoy mother nature in peace.
In the mountains near Ollantaytambo live local communities after the lifestyle of the Incas. A visit to the Patacancha community gave us a unique glimpse into this ancient lifestyle. In addition to a festive welcome, here we were introduced to an ancient way of preparing potatoes, beans and bananas in the ground.
