Have you ever eaten at a Korean restaurant? If yes, it will undoubtedly have been a Korean BBQ restaurant. Until a few years ago there were few Korean restaurants in Rotterdam, but more and more new Korean hotspots are opening in Rotterdam. Not surprisingly, Korean BBQ is extremely popular, fun and delicious. We are fans of Asian cuisine anyway. But Korean cuisine is special. Now we just need to go on a trip to South Korea, that seems cool. But for now, we are enjoying our favorite Korean restaurants in Rotterdam!
1. Seoul Sista Korean BBQ
Seoul Sista (pronounced Soul Sister) is without a doubt the most famous Korean restaurant in Rotterdam. Seoul Sista is all about Korean BBQ. Here you dine at tables with a built-in barbecue on which you can grill in Korean style. Think of products like Korean fried chicken, but you can also order dishes such as Korean ginger or oxtail soup, Korean sushi or vegetables such as kimchi.

2. Gangnam Korean BBQ
When we hear Gangnam, we immediately think of the song Gangnam Style. We are sorry if this song is now also in your head for the rest of the day. What we are not sorry about, however, is that we are Gangnam Korean BBQ to you. In fact, at this restaurant you will enjoy Korean BBQ style dishes. Good to know, they operate an all you can eat concept here.

The Korean restaurant Allegaartje is one of those hot spots that immediately grabs your attention. The deep red painted building has a typical Asian look, and then you haven't even been inside. At Allegaartje you can enjoy traditional Korean dishes, but of course you can also order the Korean BBQ.

The sleek, modern design and very friendly staff make Man Nam A place you keep coming back to. The atmosphere is top notch and not comparable to other Korean restaurants in Rotterdam. You have to experience Man Nam yourself, and of course taste the tasty Korean dishes. Tip: dumplings and the Chicken New Garlic!

5. Bapboss Korean Cuisine
Curious about authentic Korean cuisine? You can taste it at Bapboss Korean Cuisine in Rotterdam. Dishes you should especially order are Korean Fried Chicken, Bibimhap and the meal soups. If you are not quite sure, you can always ask the Korean chef for advice. Nice to know is that Bap means meal and boss means boss. By this they mean that the boss makes a nice meal for you!

A wildly popular street food snack that has made its way to the Netherlands from South Korea is chimaek. Literally translated from Korean, this is fried chicken and beer. When you combine the fried chicken with SOJU, a distilled Korean drink, then you get somaek. Tourists from all over the world come to Soju on Witte de Withstraat for chimaek. So you don't want to miss this spot!
