The Meent, it is the street in the heart of Rotterdam where you come to shop, eat and drink, and of course to dance at night. Together with the Witte de With street in Rotterdam, the Meent is one of the liveliest and busiest streets in the city. On the almost one kilometer long Meent you will find great stores, restaurants and bars. So it is not surprising that the Meent is a popular place to come among Rotterdammers. If you like conviviality, the Meent is the place to be. At night, cozy restaurants like THOMS and 1NUL8 transform into bars where you can definitely go crazy. But if you are more looking for clubs where you can go on until the late hours, then you better going out on the Witte de Withstraat.
Shopping on the Meent
The most famous shopping streets in Rotterdam are without a doubt the Lijnbaan and the Koopgoot, but don't miss out on the great stores you can find at the Meent. When we go shopping in Rotterdam, we definitely take a look at the stores at the Meent.
Tip: also don't forget to check out the side streets of the Meent, here you will find some of the nicest boutique stores in Rotterdam.
