Mykonos Town
Without a doubt, our favorite place to stay on Mykonos is in and around Mykonos Town. We love the cozy and bustling center where you can wander around for hours and still not get enough of it. You will find lots of nice souvenir and boutique stores, atmospheric restaurants and cozy bars. The nice thing about Mykonos Town is that everything is within walking distance. The only thing you need to know is that in the high season, from June to August, it can be very busy in the streets of the town, nevertheless very cozy.
Sahas Suites
A short 15-minute walk from Mykonos Town you will find the cozy apartment complex Sahas Suites. With a beautiful hilltop location, you'll stay here in a beautiful spot just outside Mykonos Town. Ideal for quick access to the city center, but also convenient for quick access to one of the island's most beautiful beaches. Sahas Suites offers beautiful apartments with a terrace or balcony, comfortable beds and fine amenities. In addition, the accommodation itself offers car and scooter rentals.
Ornos
If your preference is to stay near the beach or on the coast, the place Ornos is definitely worth considering. You will find here one of the most beautiful beaches on Mykonos, namely Ornos Beach. In the cozy village you will find nice stores and restaurants and on the beach, of course, atmospheric beach clubs. From the port of Ornos depart many catamarans and other luxury boats for a relaxing day at sea. Good to know is that there is a bus service to and from Mykonos Town.
Platis Gialos (Platys Yialos)
The village of Platis Gialos is also close to one of our favorite beaches on Mykonos, Psarou Beach. Platis Gialos is an atmospheric place on the Greek island of Mykonos and definitely a place we recommend for a romantic stay. As such, you will find beautiful and very luxurious accommodations. But Platis Gialos is also definitely popular as a place for families to stay. From Platis Gialos you can take a water cab to other beaches along the south coast and the bus service to and from Mykonos Town is also well arranged.
