1. Osteria Vicini
Enjoy Italian in Kralingen at Osteria Vicini on Kortekade. This Italian restaurant is loved by many locals who come here for a cup of coffee on the terrace or for one of the delicious pizzas or pastas. The restaurant is cozy and attractively decorated, the atmosphere here is always good. Our favorite dish? We can't tell you that. Even try to choose between all those tasty dishes!
2. Jordy's Bakery
Jordy's Bakery is a well-known bakery among Rotterdam residents and well known for their freshly baked breads, as well as all the other goodies they offer. In Kralingen, Jordy's is located as a lunchroom. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, brunch and drinks both inside and outside. All dishes are made into a tasty feast.
3. Bomm Bar & Bistro
Best of MoMents, a good time in a great place; that's what Bomm stands for. At a lively spot along the Oudedijk, Bomm Bar & Bistro's terrace is always full. The location is elegantly decorated and you can come here for delicious dishes where it's mainly about sharing. But don't forget that you can also go here for an excellent high gin!
4. Vis op de Dijk
For fish lovers, this is a top spot in Kralingen. At Vis op de Dijk, on the Oudedijk, you eat the tastiest fresh fish. The terrace with wooden tables and white chairs, in front of the beautiful white building with blue awnings, creates the feeling of being abroad. There is also a nice homely feeling at Vis op de Dijk. In fact, the restaurant is run by father, mother and son. A super restaurant where you can eat delicious fish for a good price!
5. Yolo
Looking to treat yourself? Yolo is all about fine dining in a relaxed, stylish setting. The dishes here are not only a feast for your taste buds, but also for the eye. Expect surprising combinations and beautifully prepared plates, such as the tender beef tataki or the perfectly cooked fish of the day. The extensive wine list and friendly service complete the experience!
6. Sumo Oriental
Fancy an evening of Asian taste sensations? Sumo Oriental takes sushi and Asian fusion to the next level. This is not your standard all-you-can-eat sushi, but a restaurant where quality and sophistication are paramount. The sushi is fresh, perfectly rolled and beautifully presented. 9. Mamma Licia
Fancy an evening of Italian comfort food? At Mamma Licia you will taste the true flavors of Italy in a cozy, homey setting. Here it's all about fresh, artisanal dishes prepared according to traditional recipes. Start your evening with an antipasti board full of delicacies and then choose homemade pasta or a freshly baked pizza. The tiramisu for dessert here is highly recommended!
10. Hemel op Aarde
For tapas and conviviality, restaurant De Hemel op Aarde is the place to be. The menu varies in different tapas from Mediterranean countries. So you will see besides the famous Spanish tapas also other tapa dishes from Greece, for example. It will be hard to choose between all the goodies on the menu, but don't forget to look at the specialties on the chalkboard. That will be enjoyment!
11. Juffrouw van Zanten
For a delicious brunch or a relaxing coffee break, Juffrouw van Zanten is the place to be. This cozy cafe is a favorite among locals, and for good reason. The atmosphere is homey and relaxed, and the menu is full of healthy, surprising dishes. For example, try the fluffy pancakes, the avocado toast or one of the well-filled salads. This is also an ideal hotspot for parents with children: there is plenty of room to play and a special kids' menu.
